Rock fans are in for one of the biggest live music events of 2027, with System of a Down returning to Australia for their first headline tour in more than a decade, joined by special guests Faith No More.
The stadium tour will arrive at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium on Wednesday 27 January, with additional shows in Sydney and Brisbane.

The announcement follows System of a Down’s sold-out European and UK stadium tour, which included back-to-back sold-out performances in Paris, London and Warsaw.
Widely regarded as one of the most influential bands in heavy music, System of a Down have sold more than 42 million albums worldwide and built a devoted global following with landmark releases including Toxicity. Known for their explosive live performances, the band is expected to deliver a career-spanning set featuring many of the songs that helped define modern rock and metal.
Joining them is fellow rock powerhouse Faith No More, whose unique blend of alternative rock, metal, funk and punk has influenced generations of musicians. With iconic tracks including Epic and Midlife Crisis, the band remains one of the most celebrated names in alternative music.
Together, the two bands will share the stage for what promises to be an unforgettable night packed with some of the biggest anthems in rock history.
General public tickets go on sale on Friday 31 July, with the Melbourne sale beginning at 11am. Fans can also access an Artist Presale from Tuesday 28 July by joining the System of a Down and Faith No More mailing lists.
A PayPal First Access Presale will follow from Wednesday 29 July through Ticketek for eligible account holders.
With just three Australian stadium shows announced, demand is expected to be high for the long-awaited return of both bands. For tickets and more information, visit https://teglive.com.au/
