The iconic UK punk act, The Stranglers, have announced they’re headed to Australia and New Zealand in 2025, celebrating their 50th anniversary as a band with their Fifty Years In The Black tour.
Forming in 1974 in Guilford, The Stranglers began life as a pub rock act before embracing punk. Famous for hits such as Golden Brown, Always The Sun, Peaches and more they have enjoyed chart success over the past five decades both in the UK and Australia.
The current lineup consists of sole original member Jean-Jaques Burnel on lead vocals and bass alongside guitarist and vocalist Baz Warne, drummer Jim Macaulay and keyboardist Toby Hounsham.
