Aussie rock powerhouse The Superjesus are set to headline the main stage at the City of Melton’s free Djerriwarrh Festival this month.
Formed in Adelaide in the mid-1990s, the band rose to fame with their unique fusion of grunge, rock, and alternative influences. With nine Top 50 hits and three ARIA Awards under their belt, The Superjesus’ live shows remain an unmissable experience, showcasing why they are still one of Australia’s most enduring and celebrated rock bands.
Other acts on the main stage will include Bachelor Girl, Sara Berki and Charlie Needs Braces.
The festival is taking place in Melton on 23 November 2024 promising family-friendly vibes and a jam-packed schedule.
Celebrations kick off with the annual Djerriwarrh Festival Street Parade at 11.30am with floats and dances and costumes galore and continue until 9pm when, weather permitting, the festival concludes with a dazzling fireworks display.
From 12pm, High Street Melton will spring into life with live music, market stalls, food trucks and tonnes of activities to keep the kids and the family entertained.
The world comes to Melton as the city’s multicultural communities showcase their traditional dance and music with a series of interactive and vibrant intercultural performances on the Main Stage.
Along High Street, ntercultural communities will be showcasing traditional dance, food and music while the more adventurous can meet local wildlife and even a dingo over at the pet expo.
There will be roving performers, art installations and lots more happening throughout the day including the new fit and informed zone where local businesses and sports clubs will showcase their wares.
There’s also plenty of options to tempt the tastebuds. With more than 20 different vendors specialising in a variety of food and drinks.
The music acts will take to the main stage from 5pm.
