Reggae fans are set for a huge night of nostalgia and timeless classics when The Original Wailers return to Australia next March for a national tour celebrating the music of Bob Marley and The Wailers.
Led by legendary guitarist Al Anderson, the lone surviving member of the iconic 1970s line-up, the band will perform a stacked setlist packed with some of Marley’s most beloved songs. Audiences can expect to hear classics including Three Little Birds, Could You Be Loved, Buffalo Soldier, No Woman No Cry, One Love, Jamming and I Shot the Sheriff when the group takes over Northcote Theatre on Saturday 20 March.

The upcoming tour follows a string of sold out Australian shows in recent years, proving the enduring popularity of Marley’s music more than four decades after his death.
Anderson joined Bob Marley & The Wailers in the 1970s and played a key role in shaping the band’s signature sound during their rise to global fame. Before his death in 1981, Marley reportedly urged Anderson to continue honouring the music they created together and keep the spirit of the band alive.
Formed in 1963 by Bob Marley, Peter Tosh and Bunny Wailer, The Wailers became one of the most influential reggae groups in history. Since reforming, the band has continued touring internationally while introducing new generations to Marley’s legendary catalogue.
The Original Wailers also continue to release new music, with their 2025 album Evolution earning a Grammy nomination for Best Reggae Album.
