Do you have what it takes to break out of prison? Fever’s newest Melbourne attraction, Prison Island, is a series of unique escape rooms designed to test you and your friends. From disarming bombs to solving mysteries, each cell requires a certain amount of skill, brains and brawn. Prison Island originates in Scandinavia with 34 different cells to choose from with new missions in each one.

In teams of 2-5, your goal is to earn as many points as you can in your allotted time, you can even check the leaderboards outside of the cells to see how you’re doing against other teams, but if competition isn’t your thing you can just have fun.
This is a brilliant activity for school holidays, send your kids off to prison for a few hours while you shop around in Docklands, or even compete against them.

The lobby and interior is decked out like a real run down prison would be. You’re not escaping one room to end up in another you HAVE to escape, instead you get to pick and choose which rooms you want to tackle out of several hallways of rooms, some for one player, or two, or three, but all equally entertaining with varying skill levels and concepts.
It’s almost as if it’s a real cell block, even though the games bring you back to reality. You can’t help but feel excited, going from door to door, trying to figure each room out, joining forces with other people just so you can do the three person cells.
If you’re looking for something to do this is definitely one to keep in mind, we had a lot of fun and recommend giving Prison Island a go. Unleash your inner escape artist, climb, swing, decipher and decode. Teamwork is key, and so is your strategy! Whatever you’re in for, you’re in for a treat.
