After dazzling crowds at landmark venues from London’s Royal Albert Hall to New York’s Carnegie Hall to the Hollywood Bowl, Beck has confirmed that Australian audiences will soon have their first chance to experience the magic of his live orchestral performances.
This May, the genre-shifting artist will land in Australia for a strictly limited run of five shows. Three will take place at the Sydney Opera House, with Melbourne scoring two special nights at the Palais Theatre. For his Melbourne performances on 12 and 13 May 2026, Beck will be joined by Philharmonia Australia, reimagining a body of work that stretches across decades.

Expect hits and deep cuts from the multi-platinum Odelay, the globe-trotting Mutations, the somber and reflective Sea Change, and GRAMMY Album of the Year winner Morning Phase, along with a share of surprises. In Melbourne, Beck will perform alongside Philharmonia Australia under the direction of Orchestra Director Leah Zweck, with Orchestra Supervisor Chong Lim AM.
Philharmonia Australia is one of the country’s leading session orchestras and has long been the orchestra of choice for major national tours. Their past collaborators include Josh Groban, John Farnham & Olivia Newton-John, Hans Zimmer, Michael Bolton, Harry Connick Jnr and Ministry Of Sound. It’s a pairing that promises both scale and subtlety, with Beck’s layered songwriting set to bloom in full orchestral colour.
Frontier Members can get early access to tickets for the iconic Palais Theatre performances via the Members Presale, which starts today at 11am (AEDT). Tickets will then go sale Thursday 5 March (11am AEDT) – head to frontiertouring.com/beck for all full tour information.
