Evanescence are officially heading back to Australia and New Zealand in 2027, announcing a massive arena tour celebrating the release of their brand new album Sanctuary.
The Grammy-winning rock band will tour across Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane and Auckland this March, marking their first headline run through the region since releasing the long-awaited record.
Melbourne fans will be able to catch them at Rod Laver Arena on Tuesday 9 March 2027.

Fronted by Amy Lee, the tour promises a career-spanning setlist packed with fan favourites including Bring Me To Life, Going Under and My Immortal, alongside new material from Sanctuary, which arrived today after more than three years in development.
Produced by Zakk Cervini, Jordan Fish and Nick Raskulinecz, the album signals a major new era for the band following a resurgence in popularity over recent years.
Speaking about the release, Amy Lee said: “This album is over three years in the making, and finally listening back to it all at once, about to release it to the world, I am so damn proud of every second of it.”
“It’s overwhelming. Working on it has been my outlet for so much that feels wrong and out of control, and a place to ignite hope through the power of music and connection.”
Recent singles Afterlife and Who Will You Follow have already built major momentum ahead of the tour announcement. Afterlife, which was written for Netflix’s Devil May Cry, became the band’s first number one single on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart and one of their biggest hits in years.
The upcoming arena run follows Evanescence’s appearances with Metallica on the M72 World Tour in 2025 and is expected to feature the band’s biggest Australian headline production in years.
With a new album, a fresh wave of success and one of the most recognisable catalogues in modern rock, Evanescence’s return is shaping up to be one of 2027’s biggest live music events.
Tickets go on sale Friday, June 12, with presales beginning June 9.
